Authorities in Wenatchee, Washington, are intensifying their search for 32-year-old Army veteran Travis Decker, wanted for questioning in a tragic family case. The manhunt, now in its fourth week, follows a May 30 court-approved visit with his daughters—Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia, 5—that ended in heartbreak when they were not returned to their mother, Whitney Decker.

Three days later, Decker’s truck was discovered near Rock Island Campground in Chelan County. The children were found nearby, confirming a major incident. Sheriff Mike Morrison vowed, “We will find him,” stressing the search will not stop until there is resolution.

Authorities say Decker had searched online about relocating abroad. A helicopter later spotted a hiker resembling him near Highway 97, fueling suspicions he may be evading capture.
The tragedy has raised urgent conversations about veterans’ mental health and family safety. Whitney, who separated from Decker in 2022, expressed gratitude for community support during a June 20 memorial.

Law enforcement urges anyone with information to call 911 immediately, reminding the public not to approach Decker. The community remains united in seeking justice, healing, and answers.
