Donald and Melania Trump marked their 20th wedding anniversary earlier this year. While they often project unity in public, Melania has admitted that she and Donald don’t always agree. Recently, reports suggest a shift in their relationship dynamic, which has become the “talk of the White House.”
Initially, Melania wasn’t keen on Donald running for a second term. She preferred to avoid another four years in Washington, but by last fall, as his campaign intensified, her stance appeared to soften. Even so, she has made it clear that her approach as First Lady this time would differ from her first tenure.
Melania has spoken about feeling misunderstood during her early years in the role. “Maybe some people see me as just the wife of the president, but I’m independent. I don’t always agree with him—and that’s okay,” she told Fox earlier this year.
Though less visible in public, Melania has demonstrated growing influence. Her delivery of a personal “peace letter” to Vladimir Putin highlighted her emerging role. Sources now claim Trump increasingly seeks her counsel, with staff noticing the changing balance of power behind closed doors.
