Chloe Jones has always been known for her big heart—loving her family, friends, church, and even her hobbies of hunting and fishing with an unshakable passion. At just eighteen, she was beginning a promising chapter as a freshman at Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa. But two months ago, on the night before Thanksgiving, her life changed forever.

While riding with friends, a sudden crash on Lake Nichol Road left Chloe with catastrophic injuries. She was ejected from the car, which then came to rest on top of her. Miraculously, she survived—but at a devastating cost. Chloe suffered broken ribs, a shattered heel, spinal fractures, collapsed lungs, and the loss of her spleen, a kidney, and nearly half her pancreas.
For weeks she fought for her life at UAB Hospital, her body held together by rods and staples. Yet even in pain, Chloe remains a fighter. Dubbed the “Tuscaloosa Miracle,” her survival has inspired a wave of prayers, love, and community support.

Her journey is long, but her spirit is unbroken. With faith, family, and her community behind her, Chloe is determined to heal, rebuild, and one day return to the outdoors she loves.
