Isabelle Weall, a teenager from Derby, has become a remarkable inspiration after turning her challenges into a thriving career as a social media influencer and beauty expert. At just 18 years old, she is celebrated for creating flawless makeup tutorials—despite being a quadruple amputee. Isabelle lost all four of her limbs to meningitis when she was only seven, but her determination and talent have earned her hundreds of thousands of followers across Instagram and TikTok, where she is admired as both a creator and a role model.

Her rise to fame began in 2018 when she posted a makeup video using a Huda Beauty eyeshadow palette. The video caught the attention of cosmetics mogul Huda Kattan, who shared it with her global audience. Overnight, Isabelle gained 200,000 new followers and was flooded with supportive messages from around the world. Since then, she has collaborated with major brands such as Next and Claire’s Accessories and reached millions through her tutorials, including one viral TikTok video of her winged eyeliner that drew nearly 19 million views.

Isabelle’s journey has been shaped by the life-threatening illness she faced in 2010. What began as a regular school day quickly turned into a medical emergency when she was diagnosed with meningitis, leading to organ failure, a coma, and ultimately, a six-hour surgery that resulted in the amputation of all four limbs. When she woke up a week later, she chose a pragmatic attitude, deciding that she had to simply “get on with it.” That outlook has defined her ever since.

At 14, Isabelle began sharing her story online, posting YouTube videos showing how she adapted to everyday tasks such as eating, writing, and applying makeup. Her honesty resonated with viewers and created a community of support among fellow amputees. Beyond her digital success, Isabelle has also thrived in other areas of her life—working as a marketing assistant and excelling in sports, even winning two British national trampolining championships. Her resilience is a testament to her belief that she can achieve anything she sets her mind to.

Though she admits that school was often difficult due to harsh comments from peers, Isabelle has emerged with strong self-confidence and a powerful outlook on life. She embraces her body fully, saying she refuses to waste time feeling sad or insecure about something she cannot change. Today, with her radiant positivity, professional accomplishments, and sporting triumphs, Isabelle We aall continues to inspire others by proving that strength and determination can turn adversity into achievement.
