  • Doctors initially treated him with morphine and Benadryl and sent him back home; however, his parents rushed him to a second hospital after he started turning yellow

A 2-year-old boy is fighting for his life in Georgia after being stung over 150 times by yellowjackets.

Two-year-old Beckham Reed was swarmed by yellowjackets after running over a nest while playing in his backyard. His father rescued him, but the toddler—born with one kidney—soon suffered organ failure. Transferred to Memorial Savannah, he was placed on dialysis and life support. His parents remain hopeful as doctors cautiously monitor his recovery. A GoFundMe has raised over $31,000 to support the family during his treatment.
