General Michael Flynn is advocating for a raid on the Washington, D.C. residence of former President Obama.
“Just as was done to President Trump when they raided his home at Mar-A-Lago because they believed there was … and they planted evidence in that instance, I think the DOJ should be contemplating, if not preparing to execute, a raid on Barack Obama’s residence in Kalorama, Washington D.C.,” he stated during an interview with podcast host Benny Johnson.
The general went further, accusing the former president of effectively directing President Joe Biden’s administration from his D.C. residence. “These are issues that must be considered urgently,” he said. “I expected to wake up to news of raids that should have already taken place. At minimum, a task force of federal law enforcement and a DOJ-appointed prosecutor—someone directly accountable to the attorney general and the president—needs to be formed. This must happen swiftly.”
On Sunday Morning Futures, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) outlined potential crimes tied to what Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has called a “treasonous conspiracy” to undermine Trump’s first term. “There must be criminal prosecution and arrests,” Luna said, citing perjury and false intelligence reporting as violations of federal law. Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) agreed, stressing that accountability is essential to protect the republic.
Gabbard has promised to release more information this week, following her recent declassification of documents she says show overwhelming evidence that Obama-era officials initiated the Trump-Russia probe after the 2016 election. She argued that transparency and prosecution are necessary to restore public trust and prevent future abuses, criticizing past investigations for overlooking key evidence.
