Tristan Weigelt, a 26-year-old tattoo apprentice, has become a striking example of an extreme tattoo transformation. Over the past five years, he has covered 95% of his body with tattoos, leaving very little of his skin untouched.
Tristan recently shared before-and-after pictures showing his dramatic transformation, with the 2020 image clearly contrasting against his current ink-covered appearance in 2022. He admits that it’s strange to look at himself now, but he feels no different on the inside than he did before his body was covered in tattoos.
Notably, some of the most painful tattoos he endured were the ones on his face and head, which he describes as feeling like being scraped with a metal brush. These sessions lasted six full days, each between five and six hours, with pain levels rating around an eight out of ten.
Despite the extensive work done, Tristan’s tattoos don’t carry any deep, hidden meanings. The entire transformation cost him around $50,000, and he emphasizes that the tattoos were simply a personal choice. His advice to others considering tattoos is straightforward: “Get what you love and what makes sense to you.” He encourages people not to worry about fitting a specific style and instead focus on what resonates with them personally.
Tristan’s transformation is certainly one of a kind, marking him as a standout in the world of body art.
