A new video making the rounds online has brought renewed attention to the tragic shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. The clip, described as a “closer shot,” shows the conservative commentator speaking under a large tent moments before chaos unfolded.
According to eyewitness accounts, a single gunshot rang out during the event, sending the crowd into panic. Authorities later confirmed the bullet had been fired from the rooftop of the nearby Losee Center building, roughly 125 meters away. In the seconds after the sound, security and attendees rushed toward Kirk, who collapsed at the podium.
The FBI has since released additional footage of a suspect fleeing the scene, and a rifle believed to be the weapon was recovered in nearby woods.
