What started as a simple court appearance quickly spiraled out of control when a young woman decided to act silly and disrespectful in front of the judge.
Footage shows her joking around and being rude during her hearing, prompting the judge to raise the fine she had to pay. Instead of learning her lesson, she smirked, muttered something under her breath, and as she walked away… flipped her middle finger at the judge.
The courtroom gasped. The judge immediately called her back, his tone turning ice cold. Seconds later, he sentenced her to 30 days in jail for contempt of court.
The clip has since blown up online, with many viewers saying it was a “much-needed reality check,” while others argued the punishment was too harsh for one gesture.
