Friday night’s Wheel of Fortune left fans both amused and baffled after a tricky puzzle and a surprising Bonus Round miss. The March 28 episode featured contestants Stephen Sporer from Minnesota, Christina White from California, and Megan Russell from West Virginia. Early rounds were intense, with all three players battling through Bankrupt spins before Russell solved the first puzzle for $3,500.

Then came the “Event” puzzle: “Seeing the green flash.” Many viewers were left confused, taking to Reddit to ask what it meant. Hosts Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White later explained it as a rare optical phenomenon visible just as the sun sets—when the final light turns briefly green.
