It had been happening for a month: every day I came home, and my little daughter, Jazmin, greeted me in her mom’s high heels, saying, “I’m a princess like Mom!”
Each time, I hugged her, telling her she was beautiful, but I couldn’t shake off the nagging thought: Why is this happening?
The reason for my concern was that my wife NEVER wore heels. She just had one pair, and she never wore makeup, always saying it was uncomfortable for her. It’s one of the reasons I love her—she isn’t afraid to be natural.
