It was back in 1944 that she started her career as a model. Believe it or not, the future star was only 13, yet had great potential. Soon, she became so in-demand and desired that became lucky enough to appear on the cover of Vogue by the age of 15.

Her versatility and hard work have been honored with her next appearance on the cover of Vogue Czechoslovakia which brought her career into a new level. What concerns her personal life, it was not as smooth as it might seem. She hailed from a pool family where her mother and she had to work as seamstresses to make the ends meet.
