Jennifer Garner spots wheelchair-bound homeless man without shoes – her next move has people in tears

Just when it appeared there wasn’t much more Jennifer Garner could do to win her admirers around the world, the beloved actress went above and above with a compassionate gesture that would melt even the hardest hearts.

According to reports, the 51-year-old was at a parking lot in Santa Monica Beach, California, when she noticed a homeless man in a wheelchair.

Jennifer Garner is well-known and adored for the gentle, down-to-earth persona she has consistently demonstrated throughout her career.

Whether it’s saving her family’s farm to preserve her ancestral history, doing everything she can to normalize postpartum baby bumps, or simply demonstrating that developing wrinkles and folds as you get older isn’t a problem, the Elektra star has a track record that distinguishes her from the majority of her famous peers.

Garner made headlines just last week for giving her father a ride in his boyhood automobile to celebrate his 85th birthday. Now she finds her name going the rounds again, but this time it’s for an act that speaks to her selflessness and compassion of her soul.

According to reports, Garner was in a Santa Monica Beach parking lot earlier this week when she noticed a homeless man who was clearly in need of assistance.

According to reports, the actress rolled down her car window to speak with the unfortunate stranger. She not only provided the wheelchair-bound man with a bag containing vital supplies, but she was also aware that he was barefoot.

When Garner saw this, she stepped out of her car, crouched alongside the man, and started putting socks on his feet.

Such a sweet moment?

Not satisfied with that, the 13 Going on 30 celebrity continued to remove her own shoes and attempt to offer them to the man as well.

It quickly became clear that the shoes did not fit, but Garner, undeterred, approached a nearby paparazzi, who had been following her, and asked if he could assist.

“What size feet do you have?” she inquired, according to Page Six. “Can I buy your shoes for him? He needs a shoe.”

When the photographer asked what size the man needed, Garner told him that the homeless man was “10 and a half.”

“Oh, I’m 11! Want me to give it to him? I can give it to him,” the paparazzi replied. To his credit, the photographer declined to accept anything from Garner and freely handed him his sneakers.

Of course, anyone who has closely followed Garner’s life and career will understand her generosity. The actress has always been an advocate for assisting those in need, having collaborated with Save the Children more than a decade ago.

“While I did not grow up poor I was surrounded by it and I always said I was a generation and a holler removed from rural poverty,” she once told Southern Living.

“And I went looking and ended up with Save the Children. Because they are definitely the leaders in helping kids in rural America.”
