“The Wedding Disaster That Changed Everything”

The day started great. My friends, family, and even my old high school buddies were there. But just as the ceremony was about to start, I got a strange call from Jessica’s sister, Laura. She warned me not to go through with it, saying, “There’s something you don’t know about Jess.” My stomach dropped. I thought maybe it was pre-wedding nerves, but I couldn’t shake the feeling.
The ceremony went ahead as planned, but during the reception, Laura pulled me aside and dropped the bomb. Apparently, Jessica had been in a relationship with one of her co-workers just a few months before we got engaged. She never told me. She didn’t even break it off properly with him. I felt completely blindsided.
I confronted Jessica later that night, and she admitted to everything. She apologized and said it didn’t mean anything, but how could I believe that? I thought I knew her, but at that moment, she felt like a stranger.
Now, I’m torn. Part of me feels like I should move on and forget about it, but another part of me wonders if I made a mistake going through with the wedding. What would you do in my shoes?
