A Flight We Never Left, Shared unsettling dreams after a canceled flight; seeking advice on eerie coincidences.

My husband and I were on our way back from Japan, excited but exhausted, ready to catch our connecting flight from LA to Florida. As we settled into our seats, the pilot made an announcement that there was a “problem with the plane that needed fixing.” We sat there for close to two hours, waiting, hoping it would be resolved. Finally, they told us the flight wasn’t going to happen. Frustrated and drained, we dragged ourselves off the plane, went through the hassle of getting a hotel, and somehow caught a flight the next day. By the time we found our luggage and made it home, it all felt like a blur. We couldn’t really recall much, and I figured the exhaustion and jet lag had clouded our memories.

The days that followed were strange. I started having unsettling dreams about that plane, dreams where it crashed because the pilot never found the issue. In every dream, we didn’t survive. It was eerie and left me feeling uneasy. I tried to shake it off as just my mind playing tricks on me. But then, a few days later, during a casual conversation, I told my husband about these dreams. To my surprise, he admitted he’d been having similar dreams, where we died in the crash and somehow ended up in this strange, out-of-place reality.

The coincidence of our shared dreams left us questioning things. Did we really survive that flight, or did something far more mysterious happen? Could we be living in some sort of alternate timeline? Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice or insights would be appreciated, as we can’t seem to shake the feeling that something just isn’t right.
