The Warning That Saved Us, Unexplained warning saved us from an accident; seeking similar experiences.

Back when I was a kid, my dad, my sister, and I often rode our bikes to a local park. One day, as my sister and I were cycling around a building’s car park within the park, my dad was up at the play area, quite a distance away. We decided to head back to him, and as we were leaving the car park, I suddenly heard him shout, “Watch out, there’s a car!” Reacting quickly, we swerved off the road and onto a verge. Seconds later, a car zoomed around the corner, missing us by inches. We were shaken but relieved as we made our way back to my dad.

When we reached him, I thanked him for shouting out and saving us from a potential accident. His response left me stunned. He looked at me, puzzled, and said that he hadn’t shouted at all. In fact, he explained that he had only thought the words, worried as he watched us from a distance. The play area was far enough that if he had yelled, there was no way we could have heard him. The realization that we somehow responded to an unspoken thought made the whole situation feel even more eerie and unexplainable.

Even now, years later, I often think about that day and wonder what really happened. Did we somehow sense his thoughts, or was it just a coincidence? I’m sharing this story in hopes that others may have experienced something similar. Have you ever felt like a thought reached someone without words, or had an unexplainable moment of warning? I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences on how to make sense of something so mysterious.
