The Mysterious Glow, An eerie experience with a glowing mass and unsettling noise.

When I was a teenager, my family had just moved into our new home in Mississauga, Ontario. Due to a rule about not allowing boys in my room, I had to sleep on a sofa instead of a bed. One night, as I was drifting off to sleep on the couch, I suddenly heard an intense and horrifying sound in my head. It was a split-second noise that jolted me awake. I turned over, facing the room, and saw something that defied explanation.

Suspended in the air about two feet in front of me was a glowing, rectangular mass of energy. It was roughly 20 inches high and 10 inches deep, filled with what appeared to be millions of tiny, swirling sparks. There were no visible boundaries to this glowing entity, and the whole thing lasted only a moment. Despite the bizarre and unsettling experience, I didn’t feel fear—just confusion.

I heard my dad moving around in the kitchen, still going through his bedtime routine. I described the incident to him, but he reassured me it was probably just a dream and sent me back to bed. Six months later, my dad brought home a sensational newspaper and showed me an article about ghosts. The article described exactly what I had seen, though it didn’t mention the sound. Dad and I exchanged a knowing look, and I stored the memory away. Years later, I encountered the same disturbing noise while house-sitting, but it lasted only a moment. A psychic I visited suggested I was simply receptive at that time and advised not to worry.
