When I was about 4 years old, I was playing in the living room while my mum worked in the kitchen. There was a small red bulb, often referred to as a Zero Watt Bulb, placed on the TV rack within my reach if I stood up on the sofa.

Curious, I grabbed the bulb and, thinking it was something edible, forced it into my mouth. I started chewing before realizing it wasn’t food. Broken glass got stuck in my tongue and soft palate. Blood started dripping from my mouth as I cried and fell to the floor.

Moments later, I woke up to find my mother and uncle rushing me to the hospital. Thankfully, I survived the ordeal, but it left me with a lasting sense of caution. It taught me that curiosity, especially when combined with a lack of awareness, can lead to dangerous situations. Life is indeed a teacher, and sometimes, you learn the hard way.
