During dinner with my husband at a restaurant, my phone’s battery was low, so I turned it off to save power. As we headed home, I suddenly panicked—I couldn’t find my phone. I frantically checked my bag and searched the car, but it was missing.
The Mistake
Certain I had left it at the restaurant, I convinced my annoyed husband to drive an hour back. With the manager’s help, we looked everywhere, but there was no sign of the phone. My heart sank when, in my panic, I reached into my jacket pocket and found it.
