The Lady in the Orange Shawl.

The Lady in the Orange Shawl, A CHILLING ENCOUNTER AT DUSK, It was a typical summer evening when my brother and I were helping students search for their shoes. It was a typical summer evening when my brother and I were helping students search for their shoes. This strange incident had been happening regularly—one student would complain about missing shoes, only for them to be found hidden in another pair. That evening, my brother got frustrated and went upstairs to search, grumbling all the way. Suddenly, he screamed from the second floor, and I saw him racing down, terrified. Barely able to speak, he kept repeating, “There’s someone… there’s someone up there.”

I grabbed a rod and cautiously made my way upstairs, despite his protests. When I reached the storeroom at the top of the stairs, an overpowering scent filled the air. It was like perfume, but nothing around explained it. The door to the rooftop was locked from the inside, and the scent slowly faded as I looked around. My brother later described seeing a woman in an orange shawl standing by the switchboard, who moved eerily as he reached out to turn on the light.

The most chilling part came the next day. One of the students casually mentioned seeing a similar woman multiple times, describing her exactly as my brother had—chubby, with big eyes, wearing an orange shawl. He had been trying to leave before dark for fear of encountering her. We were all left in shock, trying to make sense of what had happened.
