Candace Cameron Bure has been in the spotlight recently, and not just because of her acting career. The actress sparked controversy with her comments about “traditional marriage,” but now it’s her marriage to Valeri Bure that has captured people’s attention.

Candace and Valeri first met at a hockey game in 1994 and quickly fell in love. They tied the knot on June 22, 1996, and have been happily married for nearly 20 years. Despite their busy lives, they always make time for each other and strive to keep the spark alive.

A recent Instagram post by Candace gave us a glimpse into the playful side of their marriage, but it received mixed reactions from viewers. Some deemed it inappropriate for a “Christian star” like Candace. However, the actress stood her ground and responded to the backlash with humor and grace.

In a follow-up video on her Instagram stories, Candace laughed off the criticism and expressed her happiness in being able to have fun with her husband after all these years. She confidently defended their display of affection as a testament to a strong and healthy marriage.
