Levi was initially declared brain-dead, with no expectation of survival, yet he showed unexpected signs of improvement.“LEVI WOKE UP! I am shook,” his mother, Kallie Wright, shared on Facebook.

“The doctor said I could be excited, so I am! My baby is so tough!”However, the MRI results the next day were discouraging. “We’re shattered, but it’s just images,” Kallie posted. “The real teller will be Levi’s progress in the coming days.”As Levi’s battle continued, family and friends prayed. After days of sleepless nights and consultations with top neurologists, the family had to make a heartbreaking decision. “Levi showed us just enough to give us time to make peace with letting him go,” Kallie shared.Following numerous tests and discussions, they made the decision to take Levi off life support. The tragic news was later confirmed by family friend, Mindy Sue Clark. “In his 12 days, Levi moved mountains and brought light to a dark world. He’s everything his parents hoped for.”Our hearts go out to Levi’s family. Rest in peace, sweet Levi.
