Losing an owner is a heartache that they often can’t understand.Moose, a sweet rescue dog, recently lost his beloved dad without knowing why. For over a year, Moose stayed loyally by his side, even waiting by his hospital bed, unaware that his dad had passed away. Moose’s journey has been far from easy;
he was first found abandoned, tied to a railroad sign near a shelter in rural Georgia. From there, he spent months in a kill shelter, unnoticed and edging closer to a tragic fate.Fortunately, a kind volunteer helped connect Moose with Eleventh Hour Rescue, bringing him to New Jersey where he found his “forever” home with his new dad. Sadly, just a year later, Moose’s dad passed, leaving him alone again. True to their commitment, Eleventh Hour Rescue took Moose back, determined to find him another loving family. Now, with a second chance, we hope Moose will finally find the happiness he deserves.
