My Dad Replaced My Mom with My Best Friend – I Made Him Taste His Own Medicine
When Hannah’s Dad strolled into her birthday celebration with her best friend on his arm, she felt a surge of determination to confront him. Little did he know that Hannah’s resolve would unexpectedly turn the tables at her graduation party. “Happy birthday, kiddo,” Dad greeted, but his words barely registered amidst the room filled with balloons and banners that suddenly felt all wrong.

“What’s the fuss?” he asked, noticing the stares directed at them.
Hannah couldn’t believe it. Her Dad had arrived at her 25th birthday party with Jessica, her best friend, as his date.
“What is Jess doing with you?” Hannah finally managed to ask, recovering from the initial shock. “What do you mean?” Dad chuckled. “We’re together, in love!”
“Are you serious? Mom is here, and everyone is watching us!”
He shrugged. “So what? I don’t care what she or anyone else thinks. This is MY LIFE. I want to have fun.”
Hannah glanced at her mom, standing alone with tears streaming down her face. Unable to bear it, her mom turned and walked away.
“If I knew you would pull something like this, I would’ve never invited you!” Hannah snapped, turning her ire on her Dad. “And you, Jess, how could you betray me like this? You were my best friend!”
“I’m sorry, Hannah,” Jessica replied softly. “But if you can’t accept this, maybe that’s your problem.”
Hannah was stunned.
