Once on a very cold night, a rich man met a homeless old man outside. The millionaire stopped and asked him:”I see you don’t have a winter coat, you’re not cold”?

On a freezing night, a rich man encountered an elderly homeless man without a winter coat. Concerned, he offered to bring him a thick coat from his home to keep him warm. The old man, accustomed to the cold, said he could manage but agreed to wait for the coat. However, the rich man forgot about his promise and went to bed. The next morning, he remembered the old man and hurried outside, only to find the homeless man had died from the cold. The old man had left a note that read, “When I didn’t have thick clothes, I had the strength to endure the cold, but when you promised to help, I relied on your promise, and it drained my will to fight.”
Moral: Never make promises you can’t keep, as what may seem like a small commitment to you could mean everything to someone else.
