A little girl says to her mother: “Mummy, when you were away at work, a lady came around…” “Not now,” says Mummy. “Wait until Daddy gets home.”
When Daddy arrives, Mummy says, “Now, dear, tell us what you were saying about Daddy and the lady.” Daddy begins to speak, but Mummy interrupts, “You be quiet – I’ll be talking to my attorney in the morning. Go ahead, dear.”
“Well,” the little girl starts, “Daddy told me to stay downstairs while they went upstairs, but I followed without him noticing. I saw them talking and laughing at the top of the stairs.
Then they went into your bedroom and closed the door, but I peeked through the keyhole.” “What did you see?” asks Mummy. “I saw them talking some more and laughing, and then they lay on the bed together,” the little girl continues. “And then they did what you and Uncle Jack did when Daddy was away last year.”
