The second teen stepped forward, smirking. “We want THOSE seats, and you’re gonna give them to us!”
He reached for her, but a powerful voice intervened. “Get your hands off her, my friend, or you and I are going to tango!”
The teens spun around to see a tall, broad-shouldered man with a steely gaze. “Move along before you’re in trouble,” he warned.
The teens scurried off, casting nervous glances back.
“Thank you,” Molly said, relieved. “I’m Molly.”
“No thanks needed, Molly. I’m Jack. Just doing what’s right.”
Molly’s daughter Alice arrived shortly, thanking Jack, who nodded and wished them well as they said their goodbyes. As they left, Molly felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for a stranger’s unexpected kindness.
