Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, is reportedly investing in a massive 14,400-square-foot mansion to accommodate his large family. The plan includes a compound in Austin, Texas, consisting of multiple properties totaling around $35 million. Musk’s goal is to bring his 11 children and two of their mothers closer together so they can grow up near each other.
Musk has six children with his first wife, Justine Musk, including twins Griffin and Vivian, and triplets Saxon, Damian, and Kai. He also has children with his second wife, actress Talulah Riley, and with his current partner, singer Claire Boucher, better known as Grimes, with whom he has three children. In addition, Musk has a child with Shivon Zilis, who lives in Austin.
Musk originally planned a large family compound near Tesla’s Austin headquarters, but this idea faced scrutiny, including investigations into potential misuse of company resources. Musk and Boucher have faced personal struggles, including a custody dispute over their children.
