A video shared on Twitter by President Lula shows him observing a moment of silence, expressing his sorrow for the victims. “I would like everyone to stand up so that we can observe a minute of silence because a plane has just crashed in the city of Vinhedo,” he said, acknowledging the loss of 58 passengers and four crew members.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and emergency services are working at the scene. The crash has sent shockwaves through the country, as authorities continue to express their condolences.
