You don’t have to follow the royal family closely to recognize that there are problems in the dynamics of it. Meghan Markle sometimes gets the attention, but the rift between the royal family is easy to see.
According to a royal expert, Tom Quinn, there may be some hope for reconciliation. Harry would like to reconcile with his brother, but he and his wife, Meghan, seem to feel that some conditions need to be met before it happens. Reports suggest Meghan expects a ‘groveling’ apology from the family. Quinn stated, “Harry would like a reconciliation but supports his wife completely, and until she feels that the royal family have been sufficiently nice to her—and grovelingly apologized for the past—it’s not going to happen.”

Experts believe the royal family could appease Meghan, though they view the demand as unlikely. Harry has expressed sadness over his children, Archie and Lilibet, not knowing their cousins, Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte. Despite the hope for mending ties, Harry believes the first step must come from William and Kate.
