When we visit the doctor, humor is usually the last thing on our minds. However, one mother and daughter were in for a surprise when their doctor offered a hilarious response during a serious consultation.
A woman took her 16-year-old daughter, Darla, to the doctor. Concerned, the mother explained, “It’s my daughter. She has cravings, is gaining weight, and feels sick in the mornings.” After examining Darla, the doctor announced, “Well, your daughter is about four months pregnant.”
Shocked, the mother insisted, “That’s impossible! She’s never been alone with a man! Have you, Darla?” Darla replied, “No, Mom, I’ve never even kissed a man!”
The doctor then walked to the window, staring out for several minutes. Finally, the mother asked, “Is something wrong out there?” The doctor replied, “No, it’s just that the last time this happened, a star appeared in the east, and three wise men came. I don’t want to miss it this time!”
