A Bengal tiger named Aasha endured a harsh life in captivity as a circus cub, suffering from poor conditions and abuse. At just nine months old, Aasha’s skin was infected, her fur fell out, and her growth was stunted. Fortunately, she was rescued in 2011 by In-Sync Exotics, an animal rehabilitation group. Aasha underwent daily treatments, including special baths, and soon her fur started to regrow. Although she initially resisted, she eventually grew to enjoy the baths. As Aasha became healthier, she bonded with another tiger, Smuggler, and the two formed a close companionship. Though Aasha can’t be released into the wild due to her early captivity, she is now a playful, healthy tiger who enjoys swimming and living her life in a safe, nurturing environment.
