A worker in Chile received a massive overpayment of 330 times his usual salary, totaling 165,398,851 pesos (about $173,688). The employee, who normally earned around 500,000 pesos ($525), did not report the error and chose not to return the money. When the company, Consorcio Industrial de Alimentos (Cial), noticed the mistake, they contacted him repeatedly through various channels, but he disappeared and has not been heard from since. Despite their efforts, the employee has not responded, and the company is left unable to recover the funds.
