Parenting is challenging, but raising quintuplets? That’s an entirely different level. Jordan Driskell, a father of five-year-old quintuplets, found a unique solution to keep his children safe in public: leashes.
Previously, Jordan used a six-seat stroller to manage his kids, but as they grew restless and the stroller became cumbersome, he opted for leashes. These allowed the children to explore while staying close and under control. During a visit to the aquarium, Jordan shared a video of the kids on their leashes, which quickly went viral, amassing over 3 million views.
However, the internet was divided. Critics accused him of treating his children like animals and questioned his parenting choices, with some suggesting he “train” the children better or not have so many kids if he couldn’t handle them.
Thankfully, experts came to his defense, emphasizing that leashes can be a practical tool to ensure children’s safety. For Jordan, the leashes mean freedom and safety for his quintuplets until they’re old enough to understand boundaries and risks.
Despite the backlash, Jordan remains focused on what matters most—keeping his kids safe and happy.
