On Halloween night, actor Alan Ruck was involved in a dramatic car crash in Hollywood when his Rivian R1T pickup collided with a pizza parlor. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. at the busy intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue. Witnesses reported that Ruck’s truck accelerated unexpectedly through a red light, striking several vehicles before crashing into Raffallo’s Pizzeria, where it ended up partially inside the establishment.Video footage captured the chaotic moments leading up to the crash, showing Ruck’s vehicle rear-ending a car waiting at a stoplight, which then pushed it into another vehicle. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, although one person was hospitalized. Ruck was reportedly “stunned” and immediately concerned for the well-being of others involved.Authorities stated that speed appeared to be a contributing factor, but there was no evidence of intoxication or distraction. Ruck later expressed relief that no one was seriously hurt and emphasized his gratitude that the restroom in the restaurant was unoccupied during the crash.
