Four old retired men walk down a street in Cooktown: They turned a corner and saw a sign that read, ‘Old Timer’s Bar – All drinks are 10 cents’They exchange glances before entering, convinced that everything is too good to be true.

The ancient bartender speaks in a voice that carries over the room. “Come on in and I’ll pour one for you!” “What will it be, gentlemen?”

There appeared to be a fully stocked bar, so each of the men ordered a martini.

In short order, the bartender serves four frozen martinis shaken, not stirred. “That’ll be 10 cents each, please.

For a brief while, the four men focus on the bartender. Then glance at each other . They cannot believe their wonderful fortune. They pay the 40 cents, drink their martinis, then order another round.

Again, four great martinis are prepared, and the bartender says .

“That’s 40 cents, please.” They pay the 40 cents, but their curiosity is overwhelming. They have each drunk two martinis and spent less than a dollar. Finally, one of the males speaks. “How can you afford to serve martinis as good as these for a 10 cents each?” “I’m a retired tailor from Sydney.” The bartender spoke. “I’ve always wanted to own a bar.
