Jimmy Carter’s Grandson Provides Update on Former President>>>>>>>>

This week marks one year since former President Jimmy Carter entered hospice care, and his grandson shared an emotional update on his condition. Despite facing severe health challenges, including brain cancer, liver cancer, a broken hip, and the loss of his wife Rosalynn in November, Carter’s grandson assured that the 99-year-old’s spirit remains strong.

In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, he expressed, “After a year in hospice, we have no expectations for his body, but we know that his spirit is as strong as ever.”

Carter, who continues to reside at home with his family, is one of the rare few—only six percent of individuals—who has lived more than a year after entering hospice care. His bond with Rosalynn, his wife of 77 years, was profound, and her passing has deeply affected him.

The Carter family expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support they’ve received and the conversations sparked by Carter’s decision to enter hospice care.
