Alfonso Ribeiro, known for his role in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, shared a heartbreaking photo of his daughter, Ava, one day before her fourth birthday. Ava fell off her sit-down scooter, sustaining severe burns on her right elbow, shoulder, and around her right eye. She underwent emergency surgery on May 12 to minimize scarring.
Alfonso expressed gratitude toward the medical staff at Kare MD Skin Health for their quick response and praised Ava for her bravery during the procedure. “Not the kind of day you want the day before turning 4,” he wrote on Instagram, thankful for Ava’s strength.
Ava’s mother, Angela, had a bad feeling that morning and warned her family not to do anything risky. Sadly, after issuing her warning, Ava fell from her scooter. Despite the accident, Angela comforted her daughter, calling her “a trooper” during the difficult time.
The staff at Kare MD Skin Health wished Ava a speedy recovery, sharing their well wishes for her on Instagram.
