A five-year-old boy named Noah Woods is being hailed as a hero after saving his entire family from a devastating fire. On Sunday morning, when an electrical fire started in the room he shared with his 2-year-old sister, Noah’s quick thinking ensured everyone escaped unharmed.
Waking up to flames near his bed, Noah grabbed his sister, Lily, and the family dog and fled through the window. Once they were safe outside, Noah didn’t stop there. He returned to the burning house to alert the rest of his family. His bravery led to all nine family members escaping the fire, with only minor injuries sustained, including a small burn on Noah’s wrist.
The Bartow County Fire Department praised Noah as a hero, and he will be recognized as an Honorary Firefighter for his life-saving actions. His family, now facing the loss of their home, is grateful for Noah’s quick thinking, which they believe saved their lives.
