The strange interior plan of the house turned out to be the reason for this. The rooms were all a deep, rich purple color, from the walls to the floors, ceilings, and curtains. The closet doors in the master bedroom were also a bright purple, and the bathroom had white tiles with purple flowers on them and shaggy purple carpeting.
You can paint the walls again, but it can be a pain to replace things like closet doors. The purple theme didn’t change the outside of the house, though. It had a beautiful yard that looked like it belonged there.
The house is for sale for £400,000, which is about $5 million. The unique interior style of the house is what makes it hard for potential buyers, not the high price. There will need to be major repairs unless the next owner really loves the color purple.
