Her ex-partner, accused of abuse and violating a restraining order, faces charges including Actual Bodily Harm, coercive control, and manslaughter.
Reports suggest Kiena sought help from authorities days before her death but felt dismissed. Her brother revealed she was told to delete a Facebook post showing injuries from the abuse. Kiena’s tragic story underscores the urgent need for support and intervention for abuse survivors.
