Clydesdale Horses Rescue Their Puppy in Heartwarming Super Bowl Ad That Has Everyone in Tears
It’s a bit like a big holiday—a fun and games version of Thanksgiving.
Besides the excitement of the game, there’s another major reason people tune in: the commercials. You probably have friends who don’t care about football but will eagerly ask the next day, “Did you see that commercial…?”
Some of the most iconic Super Bowl commercials feature the beloved Budweiser Clydesdales. Each year, Anheuser-Busch creates a unique ad for their flagship product to air during the biggest TV event of the year.
The Budweiser Clydesdales tradition dates back to 1933, marking the end of Prohibition. To celebrate the return of beer, the son of the company’s president arranged for a beer wagon pulled by a team of majestic horses. Soon, the Clydesdales were touring the country, promoting the brand and showcasing the massive draft horses that once did the heavy lifting in the olden days.
Anheuser-Busch takes a “do it yourself” approach to the Clydesdales, breeding, raising, and training them in-house.
