Cassidy shared the backlash he has faced, including hate mail from Satanists and their sympathizers. “I’ve received both positive and negative feedback,” he explained. “Some people have applauded my stance against Satanism, while others have sent hateful messages through fake Facebook accounts and Twitter trolls.”
One message that stood out came from a father lamenting that he could no longer show the statue to his daughter. Cassidy emphasized the impact of public idols, stating, “It’s crucial to understand how these icons can shape society.”
