Just so you know, over the years, The Simpsons has’predicted’ quite a few global events.
The television program has long been linked to ostensibly anticipating some of the most significant world events, such as the Hawk Tuah girl, a significant music collaboration, the UK’s cost of living issue, and the US election map for 2024.
The “Bart to the Future” season 11 episode from 2000 made a disturbing allusion to Trump’s ascent to the presidency as the 45th president of the United States.
It turns out that there may be some forecasts for 2025, and they don’t seem good. Fans have always been utterly perplexed by how the program achieves it
A global apocalypse
According to Hubpages, Marge chooses to cut the kids’ hair in the “Thank God It’s Doomsday” episode of The Simpsons, but Bart and Lisa prefer to visit a new, hipper hair salon in the shopping center.
Despite Marge’s protests, Homer takes the kids there, but things go terribly wrong when the salon is in disarray and the two of them end up with half-shaved heads.
Bart, Lisa, and Homer sneak into a movie theater to watch a movie about the Rapture while hiding from some of their classmates.
Following the film, Homer is terrified and thinks the rapture is imminent. He starts stating that “the end is near” and “stars are falling from the sky.”
Although he is shunned and the apocalypse never comes, Homer quickly realizes that he miscalculated the date and that the end of the world is still imminent.
He begs God to save his family when he is floating in paradise a few moments later. God consents to go back in time after some haggling, and Homer awakens from his “dream” before being reunited with his loved ones.
Fans think the themes of time travel and the end of the world could be a prophecy for 2025, even though it may seem a bit unrealistic.
World War 3
People have been taking a World War 3 forecast seriously, which is not surprising given the escalation of international hostilities in 2024.
There have been several allusions to a possible World War III since The Simpsons premiered. In a 1987 short, Homer demands that the family hurry to a makeshift bunker in the garden because he is certain that World War Three has begun.
In the meantime, Hugh Parkfield, Lisa’s British fiancé, and Homer and Bart later visit Moe’s Tavern in a different scene from “Lisa’s Wedding.”
Moe acknowledges that Hugh is British and tells him that they’saved their a** in WW2′, to which Hugh responds, “Well, we saved your a**e in WW3.”
Eerily, Moe simply says, “That’s true.”
