Phillips’ journey began at a young age, he believed he was simply smaller than average and anticipated a growth spurt that never came.

He tells IGV: “I’m still not sure that I have yet fully come to terms with having a microp**is.”

Despite this, Phillips is now spreading awareness, with his story highlighting the isolation that many feel when dealing with body-related issues.

He adds: “It wasn’t until joking about being a Guinness world holder that I realized I might actually have the world’s smallest. If I could go for it, I would – I think it could help bring more awareness.”

Phillips says he uses humor as a coping mechanism, with it being the ‘way I deal with pretty much anything.’

While he’s found humor to be a release, he’s also sharing his experience on Instagram, where he has received positive feedback from followers.

This has helped Phillips work through his self-esteem issues, as he’s met ‘really good people that just care about you and what you post.’

He says: “I think the biggest misconception is that if a guy has a small p**is, he just has a small p**is, and not that there may be a medical thing going on. More people need to be aware that there is a medical condition called microp**is.”

Cleveland Clinic describes a microp**is as ‘an atypically small p**is’ which is ‘usually the result of a fetal testosterone deficiency.’ If detected early, hormonal treatment may help stimulate growth.

Now, Phillips is advocating for early detection and medical intervention.

By sharing his story, he also hopes he can help others with the same issue find comfort in the fact they’re not alone.

He says: “I’ve learned that struggling does nothing but hurt you and nobody else.

“You can choose to be happy just being here in this great world we live in. Find people you are confident in sharing your problem with, and they might surprise you with how understanding and accepting they are.”

Phillips also touches upon his dating life with IGV, acknowledging that there have been ‘challenges.’

He reveals: “It impacted relationships in the sense that while there may be women out there totally accepting and wouldn’t mind, the process you have to go through and many times you have to explain your situation to new women has left me just avoiding them altogether.”

Regardless, Phillips’ story is one of resilience and self-acceptance, with him pointing out that the right people will stick around if they’re worth it.
