Delta Air Lines Flight 4819, traveling from Minneapolis to Toronto Pearson International Airport, crashed while attempting to land on February 17.
The plane flipped upside down, but remarkably, none of the 80 people onboard died. At least 18 were injured, with three in critical condition. The plane was carrying 76 passengers and four crew members.
Passengers shared footage of the wreckage, with one person saying, “My plane crashed. I’m upside down.” The cause of the crash is under investigation. This incident follows the tragic crash near Washington, DC, on January 29, which killed 67 people.
