Alicia installed a baby monitor to keep an eye on her son, Edduin, after noticing he was constantly tired and restless. She suspected something was wrong and soon discovered an unusual presence in his room. One night, she saw a dark figure on the monitor—a small, scruffy dog, which startled her.
The dog, a stray, had been sneaking in through an old dog door left from the family’s previous pet. It had been playing with Edduin while he should have been sleeping, leaving him exhausted. Alicia, relieved but surprised, decided to keep the dog and named him Casper.
