Amy Schumer has humorously claimed that John Cena was “actually inside her” while filming an intimate scene for Trainwreck, the 2015 romantic comedy in which they starred together. Schumer played Amy, a commitment-phobic party girl, who finds herself in a romance with Cena’s character, Steven, a devoted gym enthusiast.
The scene in question was particularly memorable, with Schumer joking about Cena’s impressive physique. She quipped, “It’s a whole universe, that butt… It’s not even human. It felt like having a refrigerator on top of me.” She also added, “I think it was probably harder for him. I just did what I usually do when I have s**. Just lay there.”
Cena, on the other hand, admitted the scene was “awkward” during a 2015 interview with Conan O’Brien. He described the filming process as “real embarrassing” due to the large crew on set. Despite his wrestling experience, he found acting in a sex scene very different.
In response, Schumer joked on Instagram, “John, how dare you,” while also playfully expressing her affection for Cena.
