5-Year-Old Hero Saves>>>>

Jessica Penoyer was taken aback when she opened her door to find her five-year-old neighbor, Salvatore Cicalese, standing there. At first glance, it appeared he was holding a doll, but Jessica soon realized it was his baby sister. What followed was a story of bravery and quick thinking that saved a life.

Salvatore explained to Jessica that his mother, Kaitlyn Cicalese, had become unresponsive while in the shower. The young boy described how he had dragged a stool to the garage door to reach the light switch, falling off once before successfully turning it on his second attempt. Sensing the urgency of the situation, Jessica immediately called the police.

Emergency responders arrived at the Cicalese home to find Kaitlyn unconscious in the bathtub. Thanks to Salvatore’s quick actions, his mother was rescued just in time. Had he not acted swiftly, the outcome could have been tragically different.

A Mother’s Gratitude and a Son’s Concern

After receiving medical attention, Kaitlyn began to recover. She explained that she had experienced a seizure and lost consciousness in the shower. While she is doing better now, Salvatore remains deeply concerned for his mother’s well-being.

“He keeps asking me if I’m going to be okay,” Kaitlyn shared. “He wants to know if I’ll have another seizure and if I’m sure I’m not going to die. I reassure him that everything will be fine, but if something does happen, I know he’ll know what to do.”

Salvatore’s bravery and presence of mind have left his family and community in awe. At just five years old, he demonstrated remarkable courage and resourcefulness, proving that heroes come in all sizes.
