Amy Schumer has claimed that John Cena was ‘actually inside her’ while filming an intimate scene for a movie.
Schumer, portraying a commitment-phobic party girl named Amy, starred alongside Cena in the 2015 romantic comedy Trainwreck.
Her character is reluctant to embrace monogamy but finds herself entangled in a series of relationships, including one with Cena’s character, Steven, a devoted gym enthusiast.
Their on-screen romance led to a particularly memorable and racy scene, which the two actors have since discussed on multiple occasions.

Schumer previously shared her astonishment at Cena’s physique, saying (per the Daily Star): “It’s a whole universe, that butt… It’s not even human. It felt like having a refrigerator on top of me.”
Jokingly, she added: “I think it was probably harder for him. He had to, like, do something. I just did what I usually do when I have s**. Just lay there.”
The comedian also shared one significant regret from the experience: “You know what? I didn’t get to feel his balls. It’s a major regret of mine. Major regret.”
On the other hand, Cena described filming the scene as ‘awkward.’
In a 2015 interview with Conan, the professional wrestler admitted: “It was awkward. And they wanted awkward, so we gave them awkward.”

On Club Shay Shay, Cena detailed the challenges of filming the scene, recalling how producers swapped his lines for an exaggerated stunt sequence. He praised Schumer for creating a comfortable environment but admitted performing in front of a full crew felt awkward, calling it “real embarrassing” rather than intimate.

After the podcast, Schumer jokingly responded on Instagram, saying, “John, how dare you,” and admitted she loved the scene. Cena later revealed he hesitated to tell then-partner Nikki Bella about it, admitting she had “every right” to be upset since he didn’t inform her beforehand

When asked during an Australian talk show how she managed to keep a straight face while filming the s** scene, Schumer quipped: “Because he was actually inside me. Who am I to stop him?”
Though clearly a joke, her comment added to the humor surrounding their onscreen dynamic.
Co-star Bill Hader, present during the discussion, chimed in, adding: “Wrestlers, they’re not faking. When they’re wrestlers, they don’t fake!”
To which Schumer humorously responded: “It’s real.”
